The night before last I dreamt that as I was crossing a large road, possibly the North Circular, a red-haired woman asked if I thought her hair was too short to put into a ponytail. I said "Yes". Her hair was barely longer than mine. What a silly question.
When I woke up everything outside was covered with snow.

The woman represents a pint of Lager. She has red hair because she is dangerous and should be avoided.
The length of hair represents utility from consuming her. You correctly spotted that her hair was too short to do anything with (i.e. make a ponytail). (NB you should learn to love yourself more.)
For making the correct decision God made it snow showing that he has forgiven you for any past indiscretions.
Its obvious.
